Bookbinding Courses 

Through the Sydney Community College, Rosemarie is  able to offer bookbinding students term-long courses that cover the basic skills necessary for traditional and contemporary binding. In  2012, the "Introduction to Bookbinding" course will again be offered on both Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons in all 4 terms: these are 8 week courses covering the basic bookbinding skills. These courses are run under the auspices of the Sydney Community College and bookings can only be made through them.  Term 1 courses start Tuesday 7th February, and Saturday 11th February 2012.  For full details and bookings go to www.sydneycommunitycollege.com.au, or you can call them on (02) 8752 7555.

Continuing and Advanced bookbinding courses are also available for people who have completed the Introductory course. The courses are taught by Rosemarie in her air-conditioned, fully-equipped, professional bindery above the Amazing Paper shop in Enmore: new courses start in February 2012 - go here for details.

Bookbinding Workshops

Various other short bookbinding courses are held by Rosemarie, and other tutors, on various topics, including concertina binding, coptic binding, restoration, and various papercrafts throughout the year.

 ArtBound Artists Book Exhibition 2011
