Artists' Book Exhibition
Australian Bookbinders Incorporated will be holding an artists' books exhibition in Sydney in May this year. If you are interested in exhibiting, you can download an entry form and information here. Below are some examples of Artists' Books made by students at COFA over the last few years.

Bookbinding Courses
Sydney Community College is offering three bookbinding courses in Term 2 this year: Introduction to Bookbinding is an 8 week course and will be held on Tuesday evenings and also on Saturday afternoons, starting 4th May and 8th May respectively. For those you have previously completed the Introduction to Bookbinding course, a Continuing Bookbinding course will also be held on Wednesday evenings, for 8 weeks commencing 5th May. Both the courses are staged courses providing a progressive teaching of bookbinding skills. For the first time, a Certificate of Achievement will be given to attendees of both courses. Although Rosemarie Jeffers-Palmer will be teaching these courses and they will be held at the bindery above Amazing Paper, they are organised by Sydney Community College and all bookings must be made through them. Drawing/Sketchbook Workshop
If you've always wanted to draw, then this is the workshop for you: you'll learn drawing techniques and creative page layouts, and you will also be making your own fine art paper sketchbook to use in class and afterwards. The course is held over two Sundays in March and is taught by Wendy Shortland - a very talented Sydney artist. Full details here.
