A small sharp pointed tool used to push holes through card and board covers, text sections for longstitch and Oriental side stitched books in order to create sewing holes. If required a hammer can be gently used to punch holes through covered card and stacked text prior to sewing hard covers. Make sure you protect your work bench with a little stack of card.
